Hello!

Today I am going to list some ideas for how to be motivated to work out. I am a health freak. I work out as much as I can during the week, eat healthy most of the time (meaning I allow a cheat day every once in a while) and am obsessed with helping people create a healthy lifestyle. I may be young, but I know what to do to help people achieve their goals.

I know, working out isn't always fun and games. Being motivated is sometimes a difficult task. But, to see the results you want means lots of dedication and consistency. Here are a few ideas that could help you to be motivated.

Starting off slow

You will not get the results you want in one day, so take it slow and work at your own pace. Even 10 minutes a day will jumpstart your fitness dreams.

Watch health related videos

Now this is what motivates me the most. Whenever I watch videos of people talking about their health journey, daily workouts, what I eat in a day or anything else that helps your health, I want to start working out and make a difference immediately.

Make your workouts fun!

Do it with a friend (working out on facetime or zoom is another alternative if you are still quarantining yourself), dance, listen to music and move with it, make up fun moves, anything that gets your heart rate up and makes you smile while working out is a major bonus.

Of course, cute gym clothes

Everyone who commits to this lifestyle says that cute gym clothes can do the trick of being motivated, which I can somewhat agree with. I never personally wear cute gym clothes, but when I got my first pair of LuluLemon leggings, I wanted to work out alot more.

Diet is also key

If you are not eating healthy but still workout alot, you won't see results. Eating healthy makes you feel good and also can be fun. Find healthier alternatives to your favorite unhealthy foods. I love making healthy waffles and pancakes with oatmeal (https://www.pickuplimes.com/single-post/2020/01/09/Simple-Oatmeal-Pancakes). Make protein shakes like milkshakes with protein powder, dark chocolate, stevia, whatever floats your boat. I will make a post about my favorite protein shakes for dessert.

In conclusion...

Working out can be fun, only if you have the right mindset. Work on having a positive attitude and workout for the right reason, for your overall health.

That's about it, so I will talk to you next time!
